1. We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, His revelation to man, inerrant in the original writing, therefore the supreme authority in faith and in life. (II Tim. 3:16-17; II Pet. 1:21)
2. We believe in One God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Matt. 28:19; Lk. 3:21-22)
3. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Ghost in a miraculous manner, born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born or ever can be born of woman, and that in His incarnation (Jn. 1:14; I Tim. 3:16) is TRUE God and TRUE man; that He died for our sins, arose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven and is our Divine Advocate with the Father.
(Jn. 1:14; I Thess. 1:10; I Tim. 3:16; I Jn. 2:1; Jn. 1:1-19)
4. We believe in the Blessed Hope, the Personal, Premillennial, and Imminent return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
(I Thess. 4:13-18; Titus 2:11-14)
5. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Person; that He came into the church on the day of Pentecost, that He convicts the world of Sin through the Believers witness, that He regenerates the sinner by the preached Word, that He indwells, enlightens, instructs, endues and seals, and helps the child of God.
(Jn. 16:8; Acts 2:4; Rom. 8:26; I Cor. 1:21; Rom. 8:9; Jn. 16:13; Eph. 1:13; 4:30)
6. We believe that man was created in the Image of God, and that he sinned, thereby incurring not only physical, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and are totally depraved and that they must be Born Again to be accepted of God.
(Gen. 1:26; 3:17; Rom. 3:10-20; 5:12; Jn. 3:3)
7. We believe that the only condition of salvation is to receive Jesus Christ as our Savior Who Died for our sins on the Cross.
(Acts 16:31; Jn. 1:12; 3:16)
8. We believe that there are two ordinances that the Christian is commanded to observe, namely, Baptism by Immersion, and Communion or the Lord's Supper, that Baptism has no saving merit; but after a sinner is Saved by Faith, Baptism is commanded to show to the world that he or she is now identified with Christ in His Death, Burial, and Resurrection; and whereas Baptism is to be observed once, the Communion is to be observed often in memory of the body and Shed Blood of our Lord.
(Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:9-13; I Cor. 11:26)
9. We believe the Scriptures clearly teach that Believers should not be conformed to this world, and that it is incumbent upon them to live lives of separation from all worldly and sinful practices, that violation of this teaching involves the loss of joy, peace, and testimony before the world, and that it incurs the chastening of the Lord; and that nonconformity can be maintained only by constant abiding in Christ, by a life of private and public Bible Study, Meditation, Prayer and worship, that the world will not learn of the love wherewith Christ hath loved us, unless Believers are willing to be exhibitors of that love in testimony and practice.
(Jn. 15:4; II Tim. 2:15; II Cor. 6:14, 18; 7:1; I Jn. 5:5-21)
10. We believe in the bodily Resurrection of the Just at the Rapture, and of the Unjust at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ.
(I Thess. 4:16; I Cor. 15:51-57; Rev. 20:11-15; Dan. 12:2; Jn. 5:28-29; 11:25-26)
11. We believe in Heaven, the place of eternal conscious happiness, of all who have accepted by faith the merits of Christ's atoning Sacrifice; and in Hell, the place of eternal conscious punishment of all who have rejected Christ.
(Ps. 9:17; II Thess. 1:7, 9; Rev. 20:10-15; Jn. 14:1-6; Phil. 3:20-21)
12. We believe that Satan is a personal being, the prince of demons, the great enticer and deceiver, the god of this age, whose end is the Lake of Fire.
(II Cor. 4:3-4; Job 1:6-7; Rev. 20:10)
13. a) We believe that the local church is a congregation of Immersed Believers, associated by covenant of Faith and fellowship of the Gospel, observing the ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws and exercising their rights, gifts, and privileges as invested in them by His Word; that it's Head is Christ, the undershepherd is the Pastor and his assistants are the deacons, whose qualifications, claims, and duties are clearly defined in Scripture; we further believe that the true mission of the Church is the faithful witnessing of Christ to all men.
(Acts 2:41-42; I Cor. 11:2; Acts 6:1-4; Eph. 4:11-13)
b) We believe that the local church has the absolute right of self government, free from interference of any hierarchy of individuals or organizations, and that the only true Superintendent is Christ, through the Holy Spirit. We further believe that it is Scriptural for local churches to cooperate with other churches in like faith in doctrine, in contending for the Faith; and for the furtherance of the Gospel, and that the Church is the sole judge of the measure and method of this cooperation; and on all matters of membership, policy, governments, discipline, benevolence, etc. The will of the church is final when in accord with the Word of God.
(Eph. 1:15-23; 5:23-27; Col. 1:18; Jude 1-25; Acts 15:13-23)
14. We believe that Civil Government is of Divine Appointment for the interest and good order of human society; that magistrates are to be prayed for, conscientiously honored and obeyed, except in things opposed to the Word of God.
(I Tim. 2:1-3; Acts 4:19; Dan. 3:17-18; Rev. 1:5)
15. We believe that all who are truly born again are kept by God the Father for Jesus Christ.
(Phil. 1:6; Jn. 10:28-29; Rom. 8:35-39)
16. We believe in the Throne of David.
(Lk. 1:32; Isa. 9:6-7; Acts 2:29-30)
17. We believe in the Millennial Reign of Christ.
(I Cor. 15:25; Isa. 11:4-5; Ps. 72:8; Rev. 20:4,6)
